Who will fall, who will rise and who will just continue to Roll?
Plenty of the Week 10 Matchups have major implications for conference races including Big 10, Big 12 and SEC that could lead to some shakeups within the top 10 rankings.
Week 10 has four games between ranked teams starting with #12 WVU taking on #17 Texas. With the Big12 Championship title still on the line for both teams despite losses, Will Grier of WVU hopes to lead his Mountaineers to the 3rd straight win in Stillwater in the last 4 visits, while Texas QB Sam Ehlinger playing at home can hurt the Mountaineer D in the run game.
#14 Penn State is traveling to the Big House for a show down with #5 Michigan. Penn State with losses to both Ohio State and Michigan State really needs this win, while Michigan is coming off of a bye and looking to keep both their Big 10 Title and Playoff hopes alive.
The winner of this game clinches the SEC East title so all will be watching as #6 Georgia takes on #9 Kentucky. Kentucky hopes to force more 3 and outs like they did against Mizzu last week, but the Bulldogs fire power, depth and talent maybe to much for the Wildcats. Either way this game will be one not to miss.
Even the staff at ZipChair couldn't resist picking our favorites with a friendly lunch wager. Billed as the game of the week, all of us at ZipChair will watch as #1 Alabama goes head to head against #3 LSU. This matchup not only could decide the SEC West champion, but also who (or whom) represents the SEC in the Playoffs. The Tide is so efficient on offense and has so many weapons, while the Tigers are playing at home and have an incredible defense filled with NFL bound players. Who ever you pick to win this one, one thing clear is...this will be the game to watch.
Not to leave out many of the other important Week 10 games, we are also looking forward to watching:
#10 Ohio State faces Nebraska and a win will keep their Big 10 Championship hopes alive. Louisville visits #2 Clemson who is locked in on the ACC East title and a huge favorite in this game, while the UVA Cavilers are looking to win four in a row against #23 Pitt.
